FROIO, Louis P. Of Melrose, Dec. 9, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Vera M. McLaughlin. Loving father of Pauline Pothier & her husband Donald of FL, Beverly Holmes & her husband William of Reading, Janice Mayberry & her husband Paul of Ludlow, Paul Froio of CO, Rosemarie Surface of AZ and John Froio of Melrose. Caring brother of Mary Bernardi of Wilmington, Rose Cottie & Tillie Brill, both of FL and the late John Froio, Theresa Catanzaro, Anna Gallaway and Robert Froio. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Thursday Dec. 18th at 10AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 11AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Wednesday Dec. 17th from 3-7PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Louis's name to the Sawtelle Family Hospice House, 320 Haverhill St., Reading, MA 01867.
