Francis Resca Obituary

RESCA, Francis L. Of Chelsea, December 12th, at 91 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Jessie (Zaremski) Resca and the late Virginia Eaton-Resca. Devoted father of Frank H. Resca and his wife Jan and Michael Resca and his wife Nancy, all of Chelsea, Elaine Faithful and her husband Mark of Saugus and David Resca and his wife Corrine of Swampscott. Cherished grandfather of Natalie and Matt Snell of Derry, NH, Neill and Nicole Resca of Peabody, Kayla, Avery and Dale Resca of Swampscott and the late Ian Faithful. Dear brother of Louise Resca of Saugus, Joseph Resca of Lunenberg, Lawrence Resca and his wife Cecile of Deerfield Beach, FL and the late Frederick and Arthur Resca. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Ave., CHELSEA on Monday morning, December 15th at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Michael the Archangel Chapel on the grounds of the Chelsea Soldiers' Home, 91 Crest Avenue, Chelsea at 9 o'clock. Visiting hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Sunday from 3-7 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Late United States Army Veteran of W.W. II, 30 year employee of both the United States Postal Service and Kirshon Paint and member of the PPC of Chelsea. Expressions of sympathy in Francis' name may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Chapel, 91 Crest Ave., Chelsea, MA 02150 or to the V.A Adult Day Care, c/o C.S.H.
