Hi Liz
I am so sorry to hear about Tommy, you must be completely shocked beyond description. I learned about his passing through my sister Susan only minutes before the funeral and I am so disappointed that I missed the wake - I would have loved to have met you. I have known Tommy my entire life and as his cousin, have known him to be a very cheerful, strong young man. We will all miss him but you, most of all along with Jake. I will keep Tommy and you in my prayers.

I didn't know your husband & father but I knew his Dad Jessie and his Mother and Father, Lacy & Alice Moore & his grandmother Harriett Ann Moore (she was my husband's Aunt)from Lake Butler, my husband was very fond of them. We seen Jessie when he would come to see his Mother in Lake Butler, We thought the world of Lacy and Alice. My husband knew Jessie and his brothers and Sisters, they grew up together. I'm so sorry about his passing. My prayers are with you always.

With each gentle wind that blows, know he is there whispering in your ear. With each raindrop that falls, know that he is weeping with you. With each sunrise, know that he is waiting for you. One day you will be together again and oh what a joyous day that will be. Our loved ones are only as far away as our thoughts and they always surround us when we are awake.
I and my family would like to extend our deepest sympathies during this time. Know that he now walks with the Lord in heaven and sunshine forever.

Liz, Jake, and Moore Family,
"Some people come into our lives and quietly go. Others stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts
A LETTER FROM HEAVEN:
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you.... in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented.... that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
We are so sorry for your loss, just to think we were all together at Tim's confirmation and how funny Tommy was goofing off and making us all laugh, he was and will always be remembered... Be proud..

My Heartfelt Sympathies go out to Tommy's Family & Friends.
Treasure the times that he brightened your life and rest assured that Tommy is in a better place now. When I lost my Brother Ron D. Toney in May of 2005, I felt like my world had ended....The pain of loosing a Loved one never goes away. Tommy is around you even when you don't think he is. When I am missing my Brother the most, He sends me a 'penny from Heaven'. I have a basket filled with penny's from Heaven from my Brother....
It is a comforting sign that our Loved ones are still around us, letting us know that they are safe now. When you least expect it, you will find a penny on the ground or on a table or just about anywhere. That is Tommy, sending his Love & Comforting thoughts to help you get through this.
Sincerley,

Dear Liz and Jake:
There are no words that could ever express our sympathy and shock. Anthony, as you know, has been a co-worker and most of all a close friend for over twenty years. Dearest Liz and Jake, and Cousins
I am so sorry to hear of Tommy's death. I can not say all of what my heart feels for each of you.
I know how much he loved his family, and how proud he was to carry his name. I came here to sign the guess book online to let other's know just how much it meant to him to be names after an uncle he never really knew. His uncle Cmsgt Thomas Moore, USAF POW MIA. And how proud he was of that. I know how much my father was proud of his brother Jesse's children . With courage he passes to all of you now, know in your hearts that "T" ,Tom, Tommy , husband , daddy, brother, uncle, will be with you always.
Love to all of you
your cousin in
GA.
