Irene Smith

Age 84, of Woburn, formerly of Lexington. Entered into rest August 25, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Robert Smith. Devoted mother of Howard Smith and his wife Solveig Pflueger of West Suffield, CT, Barbara Steinberg and her husband Stephen of Danvers, and Jeffrey Smith and his wife Linda of Wayne, NJ. Loving sister of Arnold Goldsmith and his wife Gladys of West Bloomfield, MI. Cherished grandmother of Sigrid and Haldan Smith, Michael, Jay, Rebecca, and David Steinberg, and Matthew and Jessica Smith. Services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel 1668 Beacon St., BROOKLINE, MA Tuesday, August 28 at 1:30 PM. Memorial observance will be held at Irene's late residence following interment through Thursday evening. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Irene may be made to a Charity of One's Choice.
