Of West Roxbury, formerly of So. Boston, Jamaica Plain and Hyde Park, August 27, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Mary G. (McNeil). Loving father of Ann Marie Wallace of West Roxbury, Paula M. Delory and her husband Paul of Lynnfield, Mary J. Pomponi and her late husband James of Beverly Farms, James M. Riley and his wife Janet of Hyde Park and the late John A. "Jack" Riley and the late Gerard Riley and his wife Kathleen of Franklin. Also survived by 12 grandchildren. Loving brother of Claire Wieners of Wollaston and the late Mary B. Riley. Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY on Thursday August 30, at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, 4750 Washington St., West Roxbury at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Interment New Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Glastonbury Abbey, 16 Hull St., Hingham, MA 02043 or to Ethos, 555 Amory St., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130. Mr. Riley,
Sir, I didn't know you, but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
