I was saddened to hear about the passing of my cousin Joey. Unfortunately, the way life is now, we lose touch with our relatives and get lost in our busy lives. I will always remember him as a young and 'playful' Joey who was one of my favorite cousins. My father was his "Uncle Joe".

Joe was a huge presence in my life growing up on Swifts Beach, Wareham I have many fond memories of being at his house with his daughter, Patti, and his sister Stella. Joe cared for all of us, (Patti had a bunch of friends) as if we were his own. He taught us how to water ski off the marsh, picked us up at nightclubs at 2:00 in the morning when our cars broke down, and once almost came down to Florida to help us out of a jam. I will always remember Joe and those memories will bring a smile to my face. RIP
