Dear Heavenly Father, who, through the mandate of your divine son, did institute the gift of the Papacy, and , through the overshadowing of your Holy Spirit, did choose your humble servant, Blessed John XXIII, to be the successor to Peter, Prince of the Apostles;
In His name, hear now our prayers on behalf of Madeline E. Hessel, your daughter, given to the world as a gift of your infinite goodness, admitted now to your eternal happiness.
May our prayers in union with Blessed John XXIII, grant her eternal peace in the fullness of heaven.
Bring comfort to her family and friends until we greet one another again.
We ask this through your most holy majesty. Amen
