My condolences to the family of my dancing school teacher. Ballet, tap and ballroom lessons with Florence Bell as children was the norm in the 40's. Especially ballroom where all the dancing steps were learned and used to this day in our old age. Waiting downstairs in the Od Fellows Hall for the boys to choose us as partners; upstairs doing the elimination dance to the piano music of Mrs. Marconi's sister.Boxes of candy for the winners. Oh, those were the days. Happy memories of Marblehead Forever!
