Dave and Rachel,
I am so sorry to learn of your loss. Yanli was a loving and beautiful person and a very proud wife and mother. I'll always remember how stylish she was; all us "RISI girls" were envious!!
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Yanli,

I will always remember how much you loved your family. Passionate was an understatement... Our brief moments between projects were always marked by laughter. Even in my sadness I can't help but smile thinking of you.:)

I am so saddened to hear this news. As far as I recall, Yanli Shao was among those yongest in our class 77 so when she passed away she must have not reached the age of fifty yet. I can still remember those early days in Beijing Foreign Trade Institute where she was always smiling so sweetly and speaking out so cheerfully...... As her classmates, we all cherish those old memories about her.

My sincere condolences to her family. Buddha bless her soul.
