Will Samples

October 9, 2007

I just heard about Joe and cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am about his passing. My name is Will Samples and I have known Joe for at least 20 years. I do the same thing in Dallas as he did. He was always gracious when I called him and ready to help me as I started in the business. It was great fun to hear his gruff voiced opinions and observations of the world and to enjoy his robust sense of humor. I always thought of him as bigger than life. When I heard about him passing, it was like a little bit of me went with him. He was a rock. Always there and always dependable. I will miss him very much. Please understand that your family is not alone at this time and you have my heartfelt condolences.
