I'll always treasure my memories of the orderly chaos at the Horne house and the kindnesses to me and my family in my adolescent years after my father's death. And, of course, no family gathering was close to complete without Kay's laughing and singing. We are less without her.

I met this lovely talented lady several years ago when we took a poetry class together in Boynton Beach. Her beautiful poetry was admired by many with her prize winning poems and readings for the Poets of the Palm Beaches. I am saddened to hear of her passing.
