Anne Hall Obituary

Of Stockton Springs, ME, Aug. 30th, 2007. She was at home surrounded by her children and her life partner Clarke Williams. Graduate of Boston College School of Nursing (Class of 1956). Anne loved to "do it yourself" and was happiest renovating her home in Stockton Springs with her beloved Clarke Williams. And, above all else, she was a devoted Red Sox fan! Anne is survived by her 6 children Francis Alfred O'Brien of MN, Dr. Joseph Gorman O'Brien, Jr., Cmdr, USN of VA; William Hall O'Brien of TX; Timothy Patrick O'Brien of WI, Mary Keefe O'Brien of VA; and Michael Walsh O'Brien of Stoughton. Also survived by 13 adoring grandchildren, her brother William Saunders Hall, Col. USAF, Ret. and Clarke Williams and his 3 children. Her favorite saying was "Tomorrow is a brand new day that's never been touched". While Anne will not be here to "renovate" tomorrow, her legacy of an irrepressible joy for life is alive and well in her children and grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Waldo County Home Health Care & Hospice, 119 Northport Ave., P.O. Box 407, Belfast, ME 04915.

My heartfelt sympathy Clarke and family. Anne and I were classmates at BC. Her humor was infectious. We had such fun. There was thing though.....those clothes she and her mother made were unbelievable. My prayers are with you.

My deepest sympathy to Clarke and all her children.I am so sorry for all the suffering that Anne endured. I lived across the hall from Anne during a fifteen month affiliation we had in nursing school. She was vivacious, funny and always up!! I am sure you are all left with many happy memories to comfort you in the days ahead. Her classmates will never forget her.
Sincerely, Carol Hornbeck Rennie
