Constance Anthony Obituary

88, of Wellesley Hills, and Maui, HI passed away surrounded by friends and family on August 30, 2007. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward L. Anthony, II, daughter of the late Guy Noble Foss who was president of Maverick Mills and Katherine Cobb Foss, and granddaughter of the late Eugene Noble Foss, three term governor of Massachusetts. Constance is survived by her sister, Nancy Foss Heath of Milton, her sons, Edward L. Anthony III of Kenmore, WA and Richard Anthony of Clinton, MA and 4 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Victoria Noble Anthony. Constance was a graduate of Milton Academy class of 1937 and The Garland School Class of 1940. She attended the University of Arizona where she became a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity. For many years Constance was employed at the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. She was an active member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 79 Denton Rd. at Washington St, Wellesley, where services will be held on Saturday Sept. 8, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please send contributions to Dr. Franklin Perkins School, 971 Main St., Lancaster, MA, 01523-2595.
