I was with another soul this weekend who´s life was saved by the Doc. I could use some of his advice right about now. It always makes me laugh and cry.

After such a long time, I am sad to get bad news through this obituary. I remember a witty person, moving permanently his fingers during vacation to keep them agile. Warmest condolences to Lois and Scott.

Perspective has never been something I have had much of. Nor do I care to gain much of.
All I can tell you is on those uncertain nights when you sit alone in the darkness wondering what now, it was a great comfort to know the a thoughtful and ever certain presence and sounding board was only a 1/4 mile away.
Doc didn't always offer answers but I always found comfort and reassurance that it was only darkness and the sun would come up tomorrow. I miss that and do not like that my 1/4 of a mile has become an infinite space.

I just aw this obituary of Bill's passing. I knew when the Christmas cards stopped something was wrong. Bill was a great friend to my dad and was so good to my daughter Liz when she first moved to Boston. My sincere sympathy to Lois, Sandy and Scott..Liz joins me in sending our thoughts and prayers..

I met "Doc" within the first few weeks of Business School. I knew when I met Doc that Scott would be a fabulous friend. Doc was compassionate, warm, loving, sincere and funny! Scott, was from "good breeding"!!
I have loved Doc from the day I met him. He was interested and always asked good questions. He cared about you when you talked with him. He focused and was sincere!
I am so upset for Lois, Sandra and Scott....Doc is and was a "ROCK"!
As a person Doc was always thoughtful and concerned for other people. He has had a great life and family. His family was always at the center of his thoughts.
I will miss Doc and his humor....when I was down he would find a way to make me smile. The world is a lesser place now that Doc is not here.
Love and strength to you Lois, Scott and Sandra...

The Boston University community is saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Taylor. For 28 years, Bill brought compassion and healing to thousands of Boston University students.
For those of us who knew Bill, he was always a gentleman and a truly kind and caring human being. We will surely miss him.
During this difficult time, the Taylor family is in the thoughts and prayers of Bill's former colleagues at Boston University.

Doc was my hero. A man of passion and adventure, a compassionate and caring friend, with endless wisdom but never judgmental. He was open to life, eternally optimistic, and impossibly dashing. From the first, he enchanted my friends, my children, and my family. He leaves a huge hole in our lives, but would tell us to fill it with fun, with good works and with love of friends and family.
