{M3}CANTON McGowan, Anna E. EASTON McGowan, Anna E. {M1}McGOWAN, Anna E. (Connolly) age 95 of Canton September 2nd. Beloved wife of the late Hugh J. Mother of June A. Dailey of Easton and Marylou Powers Stein of Canton. Sister of Mary Connors of Buzzards Bay and the late Louise Morse & James Connolly. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren & many nieces & nephews. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington St. CANTON Thursday (4-8 pm). Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, Canton Friday morning at 10:30. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Canton. Donations may be made in her memory to St. John School Foundation, Box 604 Canton, 02021 or to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 505 N. Parkway Memphis, TN 38103. I grew up living next door to Mrs. and Mr. McGowan (Pequit Street in the 60's/70's). Mrs. McGowan was a very kind, sweet woman (and I liked Hugh as well).
