Alice Scarlata Obituary

Age 90, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2007 at Aberjona Nursing Center in Winchester, MA. She was born in South Boston and was a Quincy resident since 1948. She retired in 1992 from Long's Jewelers in Braintree after 30 years. A former member of the Parish of Our Lady of Good Counsel and the Marianna's at St. Anne's Parish. Wife of the late Thomas W. Scarlata for 48 years, she is survived by her daughter Laraine and her husband Ronald Milauskas of Winchester, sons William and his wife Sharon of Wisconsin, Paul and his wife Patricia of Plymouth, Donald and his wife Pamela of North Easton, 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The sister of the late Mary Albertazzi of Quincy and James Swanton of Braintree. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Agnes Doyle of Quincy and Gertrude Flynn of Michigan. Funeral on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 from the Hamel, Wickens & Troupe Funeral Home, 26 Adams St., QUINCY CENTER at 9:30 AM, preceded by a Visiting Hour from 8:30-9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to be held at Holy Trinity Parish in Our Lady of Good Counsel, 227 Sea St. Quincy at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alice's memory to Mission of Deeds, 6 Chapin Ave. Reading, MA 01867.
