I was also a friend from high school, and worked with Erik on the 25th reunion. He was a kind and wonderful person. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I was so saddened to hear about Erik's passing. What fun it was to reconnect with Erik a few years ago at our 25th reunion from Wayland High School. As a result of that encounter, Erik became our computer guru for any and all computer problems that surfaced at home and we had many a laugh during these "fix it" sessions. He talked so much about Ashley and Andrew and all the fun weekend activities he had planned for them. I know he was deeply devoted to them and my heart goes out to his whole family at this most difficult time.

My best wishes and thoughts go out to the Blom family, especially the many children in the family who loved him so much. They are learning a hard lesson about loss at too young an age.
