Charles McIntosh Obituary

76, of Chicopee departed this life on Wednesday, September 19, 2007. Born in Clarksdale, MS, she moved to Boston and graduated from Roxbury Memorial High School for Girls. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was active on numerous committees. She worked many years as an assembler in the electronics industry in Boston. Upon moving to the Springfield area, she served as a day care provider and a devoted foster mother. Pre-deceased by her devoted parents, Willie Neal and Cecil Brown Williams, her stepfather, Lemon Williams, and her sister, Amie Louise Jett-Kelly. She leaves her two children, Brenda McIntosh and Lynda McIntosh, three grandchildren, Tavisha Brown and Tatiana Brown and Choyce L. McIntosh, a brother, Larry Williams and sister-in-law, Betsy D. Williams, and other relatives and friends. The calling hour is 10-11 AM Thursday at Harrell Funeral Home, 355 St. James Ave., SPRINGFIELD, MA. followed by the funeral at 11 AM with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
