The Nobrega Family was one of the best families I could have ever wished to have as In - Law's. Minnie and Rich have love that most people only dream about. That love will last a lifetime. My heart goes out to you Minnie, you are one of the stongest women I know. Please just know through your pain that there are so many people who are praying for you to help you through. I love you Minnie.
Lisa and Richie, the two of you have grown into beautiful people. Yours' and your Mom's loss is unimaginable, I'm so sorry. I love you both and hope that the memories of your dad will help you through your pain.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to the Nobrega family. You don't know me but when I was a child growing up in Cambridge we used to go to Nobregas store on Cambridge street. My mother knew the Nobrega family. I remember Richard's mother and father and when I saw this obituary and saw the picture it reminded me of how much Richard resembled his father from what I remember. I am sad to hear of his death. I remember both Richard and Robert as children when I was also a child. They were a nice family who served the community so well with their store. I never saw Richard again once we moved away but seeing this brought back all those memories.
To his wife I extend my prayers and to let you know that although it is very difficult and sad you must go on with your life.
May Richard rest in peace. God Bless his kind soul.

Minnie, may your memories of days spent with Richie give you strength & joy to get you through the bad times. He was always a great guy and I will forever remember my times spent with him at the store in Cambridge. We have lost a loving and caring person who was always there with a kind word.

Dearest Minnie,
I was blessed to meet you and Richard while he was on treatment at the CC. He was one of the nicest, bravest and most caring patients that I have ever met in all my years there. He always had a smile for the staff, that I know was hard at times. Love to your entire family, Pat M

Minnie & family,
My deepest sympathy to you on Richard's death. The world has lost someone very special. We who knew and loved Richard have some idea of how great your loss truly is.
I played footfall with him at Parsons College and attended the WTBA get-togethers with him. His love of life was shared with everyone that knew him. He always had a smile and a big hug for everyone. His spark for life will be carried on with everyone he touched.
There are no words to adequately express our sympathy for the devastation and profound loss you must be feeling. Please know that we are thinking of you.

From the very first day I knew the entire Nobrega family I knew they were all something special.
Rich was the sweet bearhug giving one and Bob was the wisecracking brother.
My deepest sympathies to Lisa, Richie, and of course Minnie. Words can never express what it is you are going through - however together it will be bearable.
