My dear Pat and Kenny,
I know you feel sorry because your Mum is no longer with you in body, but she sure is in spirit. Kim's heartfelt tribute to here Nana was so moving. You must have been so proud of her. I was. Today would have been our Dad's 96th birthday. I miss him still. I will always remember your Mum's smiling face telling me I had cute dimples. Pat and Kenny, you both are very fortunate to have had your Mum with you, loving and supporting you as only a special Mum can do.

My brother, Noel and I first met Aunt Eileen when we and our parents were new immigrants to the USA. We have owed her and Uncle Fred a great deal of gratitude. Without them we would not have had a sponspr willing to put their house up as collatoral so that our family would not be a burden on the taxpayers. Without Aunt Eileen we would not realized our dream of a better life, a college education and become members the teaching profession.I will miss her very much, and will be grateful to her.
I will miss our conversations with her about Kilnadur and Inchigeela
and the Quill, O'Leary and Barry familiesin Uibh Leary.
