Christine L. Hahn

Of Stoughton, September 22. Beloved wife of the late Robert C. Hahn, former State Rep. and attorney. Loving Mother of John and William both of Stoughton and Anne Wheeler of Hardwick. Mrs. Hahn was born in New Bedford to William and Hylda McCaskie. She attended Mary Washington College in VA and received her Masters Degree in Social Work at Simmons College in Boston. She worked as a social worker at the Church Home Society in Boston and later was the social worker for the Woodridge House Nursing Home in Brockton, a consultant to the Appalachian Regional Commission, and finished her career as a Supervisor for the state Department of Social Services in Brockton. She was also elected a member of the Stoughton School Committee. Christine was the sister of Donald McCaskie of Elkins, WV and the late William McCaskie of Harwich. Graveside Service will be held at the VA National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Bourne on Friday at 11:15 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Christine's name may be made to Perkins School For the Blind, Attn: Perkins Trust, 175 N. Beacon St., Watertown, MA 02472.
