Mr. Ashley,
Sir, I didn't know you but as a fellow Marine, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USMC. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

The Dept. of Ma. Marine Corp League thanks you for your service to God, our Country, and to our beloved Corps.
To Thomas's family we send our sympathies and our prayers on your loss and the loss of our Brother.
Tom is now with our Supreme Commandant on the streets of Heaven where he once more will watch over you. May God bless you and be with you as you go forward. Tom's spirit will live forever in the memories you have of him.
