Of Scituate, September 27, 2007, age 79. Loving wife of Philip S., Jr. Devoted mother of Barbara Narlee and her husband David of Chester, NH, Lori Goodine and her husband Fred of Strausburg, VA, JoEllen Mitchell and her husband Paul of Hingham and Jennifer L. Butler of Kennewick, Washington. Grandmother of Kiria (Narlee) Cortese, Luke Narlee, Kristine (Goodine) Hockman, Joshua Goodine, Christopher P., Heather L., Jonathan P., and Philip T. Mitchell, Brandon P., Nicholas J. and Emily Rose Butler. Cousin to Craig E. Dorman of Alaska. Also survived by eight great grandchildren and many good friends. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 3 at 10 AM in the United Harbor Methodist Church, 55 First Parish Rd., Scituate followed by Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Scituate. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, 4-8 PM at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd., SCITUATE. Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home (781) 545-0196

She was so comforting to me, at 6 years of age and at 50! Whenever I slept over as a child (so my parents could go out together in a blue moon!) she was so welcoming and loving. She never judged you or gave a negative opinion. I will miss knowing she is around the corner on Turner road.
