I miss you Jeremy...I pray for you and your family and I only hope that we'll meet again at this life's finish line...
Dear Lawrence & Janie,
You met me once. I was Jeremy's first friend in Devotion school and we instantly hit it off...We met, and 20 mins later he invited me over, which never happened to me...I'll never forget Jeremy, his laughter, his smile, his heart.
My Deepest Condolences,
Michael

It seems that most people that have posted comments on here knew Jeremy far better than I did. He was in my Fiction class spring 2007 semester and was a very talented person. I enjoyed his presence and his writings. My favorite memory of him was once when I was sitting in my car at a stop sign and he was walking across the street and he began to wave his arms around like crazy to get my attention while i sat spaced out in my car. It made me smile seeing as though we never really hung out outside of class. I enjoyed his short story that he wrote for the class and I pray that I still have a copy of it to keep him near.

I am so sorry for your loss. Jeremy was a great kid with potential limited only by the grasp of his imagination. I hope you can realize that it was far better to have had Jeremy in your life, even with the pain you must feel now. I don't think any of us would give back the memories Jeremy gave us over the years to take away the pain. Remember him for everything he was and live in honor of that.

I can't begin to express the sadness felt for your loss, nor the strength it will take to move through these times. I can only hope that all of these loving words, written by so many that were touched by your son, can somehow pave the way to peace in your hearts. All of my love and my thoughts are with you.

Dear Larry and Janie,

I was a friend of Jeremy's at IU. I wanted to extend my deepest condolences and express to you, as I'm sure you know, how much he will be missed. He was an amazing person and touched everyone that he came in touch with. His time was cut short, but his memory will always be present in the hearts and minds of those who were blessed to have known him. I feel tremendously fortunate to have known him. He was truly a one-of-a-kind person with a larger-than-life heart. I pray that you will find strength during this difficult time.

Sincerely,
Kristi McCotter

Dear Janie & Larry,

I am not sure if you remember me -- I was one of Jeremy's friends in high school and I believe I had only one or two chances to meet you, but I remember this extremely warm feeling in your home, which was not far off at all from the feeling I got from the Germ when I was around him. He was both a mentor to me and a friend, and I am struggling (as I can imagine you are) to wrap my mind around the concept that he is not coming back. Sorry to write that, but I cry every day for him and I just want to offer my deepest condolences. He was so good, and it is not easy to be as such today. He was both hilarious and awesome. I truly loved the kid as a brother. I am sorry he is no longer with us. I will never forget the smile he always put on my face -- even in these trying times, in between tears, he still makes me smile. Sorry for the length, but I have to begin to pour my heart out for him. I will be posting a poem I am working on soon. My love goes out to you both.

Dear Janie & Larry,

Noel and I were shocked and unbelievably saddened to learn today of Jeremy’s death out in Bloomington.

I remember him so well from the time we did a Red Sox excursion to Fenway together, and from some other encounters in your home. I always sensed how proud you were of him and your love for him.

There is little one can say in such tragic circumstances except that we ask you to accept our sincere condolences

Our warmest thoughts are with you at this time. Noel and Bert
