Of Milton, Sept. 28. Devoted husband of Diane M. (Fiske). Beloved father of Janet M. La Bonte' of Harwich and John P. La Bonte' & his wife, Kristin, of Weymouth. Loving grandfather of Christopher, Jessica, Anthony & Ryan La Bonte'. Brother of Charlotte Kelly of Seattle, WA and the late Fernande Kenney. Sole practitioner of Philip E. La Bonte', Attorney at Law, Milton. WW II Army Veteran. Funeral Mass at St. Gregory Church, Dorchester, Tues. morning at 10. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours omitted. Mr. LaBonte was my lawyer in 1965. I think I was his first case in the divorce area. He did a real great job. He told us that his primary interest was the welfare of the children.What a great person to know. God will like you.

Sir, I didn't know you, but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Mr. La Bonte was my ex-husband's attorney when we were divorced 19yrs ago. A finer gentlemen I have never had the pleasure to meet! He was so kind to me, and he wasn't even representing me. I can tell he will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences to you, his family.
