Arthur O'Brien Obituary

Of Braintree, formerly of Dorchester, Sept. 29, 2007. Beloved husband for 42 years of Kathleen C. (McKenna) O'Brien. Devoted father of Stephen M. O'Brien of Marstons Mills and Arleen F. O'Brien of Manhattan, NY. Brother of Frances Scanlon of Roslindale, Henry John O'Brien of Holbrook, Carol O'Brien of Bridgewater, and James O'Brien of Abington. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Ave., QUINCY, Thursday, Oct. 4 at 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. John the Baptist Church, 44 School St., Quincy, at 10 o'clock. Relatives & friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Wed. 4-8 p.m. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. In lieu of flowers donations in Mr. O'Brien's memory may be made to www.carafoundation.org.
