Of Hingham, Sept. 29, 2007. Devoted husband of Claire C. (Sampson) Gifun of Hingham. Beloved father of Lisa M. and her husband Edward Gavin of Duxbury, and Jennifer A. and her husband David Barnard of New Canaan, CT. Loving brother of Eleanor Dall of Arlington, Dorothy Battista of Belmont, Frederick Gifun of Dartmouth, and Mary Ann Gifun of Waltham. Cherished "Grampy" of Melissa, Tim, Nicole, and Michael Gavin, and Emily, Kevin, and Kate Barnard. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend the Funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-7 PM. Burial in Saint Paul's Cemetery, Hingham. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Richard J.
