Of Hudson, MA, October 1, 2007, 85. Survived by his wife Shirley (Comey) Satas, his children John Satas and wife Cynthia of Troy, NH, Daniel Satas of Hudson, MA, Judith LaCroix of Hubbardston, MA; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Edna Riley of Marlborough and Mary Martel of Hudson; brother of the late Joseph Satas. His Funeral will be held Friday, Oct. 5, 2007 from the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc. (www.tighehamilton.com) 50 Central St. (on Rt. 62, exit 26 off 495) HUDSON, MA, with a Funeral Mass at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson, MA. Calling hours will be from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Former employee of Boston Engineering Consultant, Dennison Manufacturing, Data Printing Corp. in Malden and Digital Equipment Corp. in Maynard. Navy Veteran of WWII, served in the European, African and Middle East Theatres and Invasion of Sicily, July 1943.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I had the pleasure of working for Wally indirectly at Data Printer Corporation in Malden. He was responsible for my drafting career getting off the ground back in 1980 after being with the company for a year. I will always grateful for that as I am still in the same field.
