Dear Mr. D., Doug, Steve, and Dana, I am so very sorry for your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. I have such fond memories of Mrs. D – from her constant smile to her gentle scolding of Doug. There was always a loving, gentle, calmness about her – no matter what the challenge.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Dear Steve,Dana,Doug,I am so saddened by the loss of your Mom! I have not seen her in many years but have always had the same feelings for her. She was a wonderful woman and she treated me as if I was her own daughter which meant a lot to me! She was a special lady and you were all blessed to have her as a mother and a wife,as was she to have such a wonderful family! You are all in my thoughts and prayers and I wish I could make the services, but my thoughts are there. Take comfort in knowing she is in a better place now and with Bobby watching over their loved ones.My thoughts and prayers are with your Dad too,How he must miss her! They had the kind of relationship that all couples want to have, only they achieved, beautifully. I think about all of you often, love and prayers,Ruth and family.

Steve, I'm sorry to hear that your mother has passed away. I had never met her however; judging from all these wonderful notes, she sounded like a terrific person to have known. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family during this difficult time. Take care, Jonathan

Pat was a wonderful neighbor on Pond Street. When I was a little girl, I made her a paperweight from a rock and she raved about it, which made me feel special. She was so elegant and gracious. Mom and I would sit with her and have tea and chit chat. Wonderful memories forever.

One of my fondest memories growing up was our trips to Canobie Lake Park. Rob, Jeff, Heath, and I (the first wave of grandchildren) would pile in the car and spend the day riding the rides. Great fun, great memories!
God bless you, and God bless Grampy.

Mom,
You were the best mother a son could have and you are now at peace. You suffered more pain in your life than anyone should be expected to endure. Give our love to Bob, and our aunts, your sisters. With love forever, your sons and all your loved ones.
