Barbara, Stephanie and Kathy....
I am so very sorry for all of you that Jack/Dad has died. He was a good man who cared for all of you. I am sure his loss will be felt for a long time.
Going back 37 years I see the young Jack playing tennis, sailing the yacht and in general having a great time in life. This is the way I will remember your Dad...
Stephanie and Kathy I feel your loss and hope that as time goes by you will get stronger and stronger.
All my Love,
Mark

Dear Barbara, Stephi and Kath, Jimmy Carl, Allie, Ben, Lindsay and Courtney;
I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Over the years, i have known your dad as the father of my friends, a mentor to me and a friend to many. In a life filled with the vicissitudes of change, Jack stood tall and unbowed- a consistently engaged and engaging man full of life, charm, wit and spirit. I have the utmost respect and admiration for all that he accomplished and achieved.

To the Sidells
I read of your dad' passing today. I am devastated. Jack taught me an invaluable lesson about who you do business with; never lend just on his credit, lend on his reputation. It was also invaluable advice on who you choose to be associated with. I wish I took it to heart earlier in my career. It always made my day when I met him years later. I will continue to think of your father as a mentor and remember his advice whenever I enter into an business arrangement.
With deepest sympathy,
Daniel M Feuerstein

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. The times I spent with you and Jack were a highlight of my youth. It's always been a wonderful memory to reminisce about the joy of growing up in the company of your wonderful family; whether it was skiing, sailing, riding, or inspiring conversation. I have truly wonderful memories of Jack. You'll be in my prayers tonight, Danny Feuerstein

Jack was a major force in my life and in many lives. He taught me a great deal not only about finance, but about human beings. He was a true innovator, being one of the first to create and implement the concept of multiple financial services under one roof. Jack organized a group of talented professionals who worked hard with enthusiasm and humor, and accomplished a great deal.
I am very grateful to Jack for havng given me the privilege of working with him and our colleagues. I had a wonderful time working within the culture that Jack created, where we gave borrowers "the big green light" and never "sat on our assets".
