Charles Powers Obituary

75 years old, of Framingham, died on Wednesday, October 3. 2007 at the Oak Knoll Healthcare Center in Framingham. He was the husband of Nora M. (Carlson) Powers. Born in Lowell, son of the late Thomas and Adeline (Berger) Powers, he had been a resident of Framingham for the past 15 years. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and was employed as a bus driver for over 25 years with the Greyhound Bus Line, retiring in 1982. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Thomas Powers of Greenwood, Indiana; 2 daughters, Michelle Roche and her husband David of Chelmsford and Patricia White and her husband Joseph of Framingham; a sister Alice Powers of West Roxbury; and 5 grandsons. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 am in St. George's Church, 74 School St., Framingham (Saxonville). Burial will follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery in Framingham. Calling hours at the Eugene J. McCarthy and Sons Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St., FRAMINGHAM will be on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
