Ralph Kodis Obituary

Of Newton on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at age 90. For 42 years he was the beloved husband of Christine (Dieze) Kodis. Devoted father of Andreas Kodis of Vancouver, BC, Nina Porter of Windham, NY, Martin Kodis of Washington, DC, and Rebecca Kodis of Londonderry, VT. Cherished grandfather of seven. Dear brother of Muriel Branz and Milton Kodis, both of Portland, ME and the late Sidney Kodis. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Services at the Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard Street, BROOKLINE, on Friday, October 5 at 12:00 noon. Burial in Lindwood Memorial Park, Randolph. Memorial observance at his late residence Saturday 7-9pm and Sunday 4-6pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Nature Conservancy, Attn: Treasury, 4245 N. Fairfax Dr., Suite 100, Arlington, VA 22203. Levine Chapels, Brookline 617-277-8300

Please accept my condolences. Ralph was a colleague of my husband, Norman Knable, at the Department of transportation. Norman died in September, at the age of 85.
