68, Wellesley native and longtime resident, husband, father of four and grandfather, died on October 1, 2007 at Brigham and Womens Hospital following complications from surgery. Jack, as he was known to his family and friends, was raised in Newton and graduated from Saint Sebastians School in 1957, where he excelled in theater. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame in 1961, Jack found success in many fields, including computer programming and real estate development. He was well known for his strong opinions, sharp wit, inventiveness and passion for life. And he loved a good laugh. Jack was active in town politics and a dedicated youth soccer coach for many years. Above all, he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Kate Brady and his four children, John Brady and his wife Natalie, Will Brady, Lizzie Murillo and her husband Pete, and Matthew Brady. He also leaves his grandson Matthew Brady, his brother, Stephen Brady and his wife Gail, his sisters, Jane and Natalie Brady, and several nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his brother, William Brady and his sister, Margaret Brady. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2007 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at J.S. Waterman & Sons & Waring Funeral Home, 592 Washington Street, Wellesley. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 5, 2007, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist, 9 Glen Road, Wellesley. Please accept my condolences on the loss of your Father,Husband and Grandfather. About 8years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Jack when I got into Real Estate. We spent many times walking land and having coffee at my table talking over deals. I will truly miss his smiles, laughs, his energy about work and life in general. This man loved life and his family and his work and he was an inspiration to all that he worked with. He will be sadly missed.

To this day I can still recall our runs into Boston's Chinatown for lunch with Jack asking us if we had the "urge" for Chinese food. Have missed him since he left Bay State and will never forget him. We always forgave him because he was from Notre Dame. I was so shocked to hear of his passing and extend my deepest sympathy.

To all the Bradys,
We were so sad to hear about Jack's sudden death. I just had a great Jack moment in August outside of the Ideal Barber shop. I saw Jack walk briskly by and I hailed him down to tell me all the news of the family. How he loved talking about each one of you! Jack had a loving heart, especially for his family. He especially loved telling me about your neighborhood being filled with the sounds of little children.
May God hold you all in the palm of His hand.
Love,
Patti, John and all the Keefes

Dear Kate and Family,
Jack would have approved of his wake with the casket decorations by the kids, the wonderful pictures, the many hats, the background music, the homily, the eulogy by Camel, all were great but the loss is very great. Jack was my friend and classmate for over 50 years. We had many good times together. I will miss him and I will keep you and your family in my prayers each day.
