Rita McKeown Obituary

85, at home on Oct. 5, wife of the late Henry J. McKeown, mother of Richard and his life-partner Carolyn Kindahl of Southhampton, Janice Mckeown and her husband Gregory Dumas of Roslindale, and the late Henry J. (Jay) McKeown Jr. Rita is also survived by her husband's family, Anne Connolly, Francis and Carol McKeown, and John McKeown, all of Norwood, and Mary Grace of Centerville, and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Victory Church, 230 S. Main St., Centerville on Wed. Oct. 10 at lOAM. Visiting hours will be in the John-Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Rd, (Rte. 28) MARSTONS MILLS on Tues. from 4-7 PM. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Norwood at 2:30 PM. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cape Cod, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601, or to Dana Farber Cancer Inst., 10 Brookline Place West, 6th floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226, Attn: Contribution Services.

To the McKeown family-I am so sorry for the loss of such a wonderful woman. Rita was a lifelong friend to my mother, Mary. I have so many great memories of the times my mom & I spent with her always laughing. My prayers are with you.
