Of Chelsea, October 4th. Devoted wife of the late Edward J. Szymzak. Beloved mother of Susan Venezia and her husband Michael of Everett and the late Maryann Miller. Dear sister of Rose Mercandante of Quincy and the late Philomena Spina, John, Michael and Anthony DeLia. Also lovingly survived by 7 grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from The Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Wednesday morning, October 10th at 8 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Stanislaus Church, 163 Chestnut Street, Chelsea, at 9 o'clock. Visiting hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at St. Michael's Cemetery, Boston. Smith Funeral Home 617-889-1177 www.smithfuneralhomes.com
