William Casey Obituary

Of Hopkinton, 79, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007 in Westborough. He was a U.S. Army and Korean War Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Bertha "Betty" (Sheehan) Casey, his children Mary and her husband Mark Caplan of Westborough, Michael and his wife Cyndi of Canton, James and his wife Julie of Ireland and Martha of Hopkinton. He is also survived by his grandchildren Ashley Bagley of Hopkinton, Catherine, Patrick and Brett Casey of Canton, Peter & Timothy Casey- Caplan of Westborough and Ryan and Anya Casey of Ireland. In addition, he leaves his sister, Catherine Collins of Chelmsford and several nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be held Thursday, October 11 at 9:00 a.m. from The Callanan-Cronin Funeral Home, 34 Church Street, HOPKINTON, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, 20 Church Street at 10:00 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Calling hours at the Funeral Home will be Wednesday, October 10 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1115 West Chestnut Street, Brockton, MA 02301

Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
