We were so sorry to learn of the loss of your beloved Mom. We looked forward to seeing her each day at the Hunnewell School. She was so kind, loving, and warm. We feel blessed to have known her.

Shirley crossed my children for many years and her little acts of every day kindness have had a huge impact on their lives. When I let my daughter Nell know that Shirley had passed on, we spent a long time talking about how your mother made the world a better place just by being herself. The fact that every birthday was remembered with a card specifically for that child, that every day was greeted by a hug and a "how is my angel today?", and that ordinary days were made special with a treat from Shirley made not only their day, but ours too. Thank you for sharing her with us. We all miss her tremendously.

After so many years of knowing Shirley, it is hard to believe that she won't be sharing her wonderful laugh and love of life with all of us. She lived a long and full life and we hope that all the wonderful memories will help in the days and months ahead. She was quite a lady! Our deepest sympathy to all of the family!
