I am deeply saddened by the news of Uncle Henry's passing. I think of him often - especially when I see "The Heart of Vermont" wooden carved magnet on my fridge! He gave that to me when I got into UVM in 1994 and it has moved with me from fridge to fridge. My deepest sympathies go out to Elsie and to the entire family.

Elsie, Carl, Paul, Jill and Leslie, your husband and father will always be remembered as one of the most wonderful, creative, talented and thoughtful people we have known. From my earliest memories, Uncle Henry and his carvings, made with such care and talent and given so thoughtfully throughout the family, stand out.
