Leah I can't belive it's been a year, to this day I still find it hard to belive. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you. I think of all the good times you your brother and mom and I had, like going to P.E.I. I saw your family on the 26th and it hurt to go to a mass held for you. I'm so proud of Paul and your mom, I miss and love you very much

It's taken me this long to build up the strength to come on here and write something let alone read all the nice things people had to say about you. It's been a little over a month and the pain is still so fresh in my heart. I think about you everyday. I think about how unfair it is that you were taken away so suddenly, so tragically, and way too soon. I'm trying to take comfort in my memories of you but it's still so hard. I am so grateful for the memories of way back when we were kids and even more grateful for the memories we made as adults. One of the last things we said to each other was "I love you" and I will never forget that...just like I will never forget you! I know I speak for everyone when I say you've touched the lives of those you knew whether it was someone who knew you for a day, a week, or 24 yrs like me...you will forever be a part of us. I'm really glad that we had the opportunity to meet up again on myspace after all these years. High school was so long ago. It's such a tragedy that you are gone after such a short life, and I will keep you and your family in my heart.

Leah Pet, this all still seems surreal, like a movie, undescribable! You have touched so many lives in your short 27 years including mine. Every time I look at my tattoo, I think of you. You will be forever missed. We had the funniest times when we were in junior high and high school. You got me into Pink Floyd and I will always love them because of you. I'm sad because we were apart for 10 years and reunited this past summer. Now you are gone and all I can do is hold on to memories. When you lived with me, we always listened to The Doors' "The End". Every morning I wake up and it's still true...the reality of it all comes rushing back to mind...your really gone :(
The last 2 days seem to have been the hardest....i wake up in the middle of the night crying in my sleep...I think it's finallly hitting me ...i can't believe I'm never going to see or talk to u again....not in this life anyway...I'll never forget how amazing you were and how much your friendship touched my heart over the years...your friendship meant a lot to me and I hope you knew that....i love u lady face...every time I go to a show will wonder if your rocking out right beside...of course you are!....I heard you in my kitchen the other night...so did my cat...say hi next time but don't freak me out too much you know I'm easily spooked hehe

Even though your life was short you lived a life that people could only envy. I wish you could be at my graduation this year with me! Leah, you were the one person I knew that was all for going to that celtics game with me and from then on I discovered you were a very kind girl that was all about having a good time. I'll never forget that game, the time we went bowling near your house, and the night i broke my phone at your friends place. I wish I knew about your wake beforehand so I could've paid my respect but I wish I could've told you how great of a person you were while you were around. I'm glad you were a part of my life and i'll never forget you.

My deepest sympathies to Leah's Family and Friends. Some take solace believing that Leah is in a better place now but she loved and lived life to the fullest so rather than believing she is in a better place now, I hope that she is in a place that is just as good as the place that she made this world to be. Take solace knowing that she knew she was loved, appreciated and respected because she would want everyone that she loved to feel the same way that she did while she was in the here and now. Because all we have is the here and now…

Well Leah no words could describe how much you are loved and missed by all your family and friends. When we were kids i remember all the times Aunt Betty and chicken Jimmy used to bring you and Paul to the island. I was always so excited when my mom would tell me you guys were coming to visit. We always had so much fun at moms. Chicken Jimmy would lay his eggs for us. And then sometimes on your visit we would pluck chickens in moms old kitchen. I remember sliding down the banister at moms that was always fun too. I miss you and love you with all my heart.
