Constance Yerxa Thayer

Of Cambridge, formerly of Boston and Lake Forest, IL, August 20, 2007. Wife of the late Lucius Harrison, II. Beloved mother of Constance Mullen of Texas, Andrea Mullen of Michigan, and Modrea M. Scantlin of Vanuatu with her first husband, Jay B. Mullen. A Boston native, Connie was a graduate of the Windsor School, Ethel Walker and Vassar. She was head of English Department at Lake Forest Country Day School and a Senior Editor at Houghton Mifflin. A Memorial Service will be held at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Bigelow Chapel, 580 Mt.
