Ernie Herlihy Obituary

55, of Manchester, NH, died October 11, 2007. Born in Framingham and lived in Chelsea for many years. US Navy Veteran, serving during Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing, computer games and trips to Foxwoods. He is survived by his daughters, Dawn Morabito of Quincy, Jennifer Herlihy of Somerville and Amie Lathrop of Manchester, 7 very loved grandchildren, his partner of 6 years, Debbie Harvey of Manchester and brown dog. He was predeceased by his daughter Melissa Herlihy of Somerville. His Visitation will be held at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., MANCHESTER, NH, on Monday from 2-4PM. Burial will be held at the NH Veteran's Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to The Chelsea Soldiers' Home, 91 Crest Avenue, Chelsea, MA 02150. Ernie what more can I say other than you were one of the most down-to-earth people I've ever met. You had a real passion for life and you were just a fantastic person all around. You will be truly missed Ernie. I always had a ton of laughs when we talked, played darts, cribbage, or just sitting around relaxing and watching tv. It is a very sad day for us all. You were taken too soon and too suddenly from us all. I know that Heaven will be a better place with you there to make everyone laugh and joke with. You will always be in our hearts.
