Jacquie, I just learned of Charlie's passing. I cannot say just how sorry I am. I never met him, but you just shone whenever you spoke of him. He seemed to be, and as I read here other people testify to the fact that he was, a wonderful and fun filled person. My heart aches for you. I know today is filled with no less grief than the day you lost him. My prayers are with you.

Jacquie, I pray that you and your family gain the strength to make it through Charlie and your family's very difficult ordeal. I first knew him as Chucky Dann who eventually morphed into just Charlie. He was a delightful person, friend, son, brother, husband, father and Grandfather. I firmly believe that traits like that do not just come and go and that we all get to see Charlie in his infectious upbeat mood yet again. As we are reminded by John's Gospel (6:40), "For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I shall raise him on the last day." With that in mind I wish you and yours well and I look forward to the day when we can all sit with Charlie and hear one of his stories which produces his unique and wonderful laugh. God Bless.

Rarely was there anyone funnier than Charlie at a family gathering. Always wise-cracking, making the joke - laughing the wicked laugh he had! How could you not laugh also! A favorite cousin who will be very sadly missed. What we do know, however, is that he'll be cracking them up in heaven!
