Mary Nargi Obituary

Of Somerville, October 12, 84, was called home after a courageous battle with cancer. She left as she lived, surrounded by her loving family. She will now be reunited with her beloved husband Salvatore Nargi. Devoted mother of Marco & his wife Laura of Somerville, Anthony & his wife Deirdre of Chelmsford & Joseph Nargi of Medford. Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Antonio & Antoinette (Palazzo) DiClemente. Beloved grandmother of Eric, Andrew, Michaela, Lisa, Anthony & Arthur. Mary was the dear sister of Vincent DiClemente and his wife Mary of Cambridge and the late Lena Ferracane. She also leaves eight great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives, and loving friends. Funeral from the Cota-Struzziero-McKenna Funeral Home, 197 Washington St., SOMERVILLE, on Tuesday, October 16 at 9am. Funeral Mass in St. Benedict's Church, 21 Hathorn St., Somerville at 1Oam. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home Monday 4 thru 8 pm. Interment Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's name to St. Benedict's Parish, 25 Arlington St., Somerville 02145 and/or Vista Care, 690 Canton St., Suite 220, Westwood 02090. Mary was a longtime Aid at the East Somerville Community School. She will be remembered fondly for her kindness and will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her family would like to thank Vista Care (Hospice) for their compassion and direction that helped make her final days peaceful and dignified. I am so sorry i missed all the services, I just got back and heard the news. I will forever remember your mother as a lovely, sweet, woman who gave me great words of advice thorughout the past 3 years of knowing her.
