Dear Paul, Diane, Kevin
I am very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I read about it in the North End local paper. I lived for many years on Pond Street. Both your dad and mom used to pass through the driveway next to us. Always friendly, always a smile. My mom and dad also enjoyed talking to them and giving them a ride to Cleary Square. I also saw his wonderful paintings here at City Hall. My deepest sympathies and prayers go out to all of you at this time of great loss. I will inform Marie, Danny and Jane who remember your family as well. Take care.

I am so sorry to hear. He was great friends with my uncle Joe Nagle for many years, my uncle took me many times to paint with them years ago and always talked about all their trips together painting. Would pass by Dotties the last few years and see him and a few of the guys hanging out. Always with a smile. Will miss seeing that. I'm sure he and Uncle Joe will be creating some masterpieces upstairs. Take care and again I'm so sorry for your loss.

Mr. Nolan,
Sir, I didn't know you but as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USMC in WW II, China and Korea with the 1st Mar Div. It was the history and accomplishments made by you and your fellow Marines back then that all of us Marines who followed in your footsteps have always tried to live up to. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
