My Dear Sweet Irene. I just drove past your house and saw the young men in suits standing outside. I knew this signified death so hurried to see. I am so sorry and sad for tremendous loss. He loved you so much. When do we ever see Irene without Willie by her side? So kind and generous a man. Always giving, Always taking care of His Irene. I will come to see you when the dust has settled. I will pray that God gives you what you need right now. No one will ever know how much has been taken from you Irene. I imagine that a good part of you has died along side your life partner. Much love until we meet, Mary

Mr. Sawyer,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
