Jan-Marie Dickson Obituary

Passed away on October 21, 2007 of cancer. Born in Arlington, MA on Sept. 8, 1949 to Walter and Georgiannia (Letourneau) Dickson. She spent most of her life there until relocating to Billerica three years ago. She attended St. Agnes School, Arlington High, Boston State College, and received her Master's Degree in Mathematics from the University of New Hampshire. She worked for twenty years at GTE Sylvania as a Systems Engineer. She enjoyed her home in Billerica that she shared with her English Springer Spaniels, Max and Sara. She was an avid reader, loved movies and spent time caring for her dogs. She is survived by her sisters Judy Luce and her husband Tom; Liane Cronin and her husband Bob; Rosie O'Brien and her husband Jim; a brother Fred Dickson and his wife Joan; a sister-in-law Sue Dickson; nieces Michelle, Natalie, Carolann Michelle, Damara, and Kerry; and nephews, Bobby, Doug, Jonathan, Peter, Matthew, Jason, Kevin and Sean; and several great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and brother, Walter. In her memory donations may be made to VNA Hospice Care, 100 Sylvan Rd, Woburn, MA 01801, or the New England English Springer Spaniel Rescue. Relatives and friends invited to attend a memorial Mass in St. Agnes Church, Medford St., Arlington on Friday at 10 am. Burial will be private. Arrangements by Keefe Funeral Home, ARLINGTON.
