George Leavitt Obituary

Of Somerville October 21, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Jean (Lahiff). Loving father of George L. III, Elizabeth Brauer both of NH, Jean Norton of Danvers, John of Winchester, Daniel of Boxford, Patricia Rosselli of Melrose and Thomas Leavitt of ME. Brother of Charles of NJ, William of PA, Barbara and Margaret both of MI, Judith and Jane both of Lynn, and the late Robert, Edwin Leavitt and his beloved sister Nancy. Also survived by 19 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) SOMERVILLE Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Calling hours Thursday 4-8. Interment Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in George's name to the Alzheimer's Disease Assoc of Eastern MA, 311 Arsenal St, Watertown, MA 02472. Veteran US Navy WWII.
