Elizabeth Dunton Obituary

86, a lifelong resident of Framingham, died Tuesday, October 23, 2007. Wife of the late Charles C. Dunton who died in 1986. Daughter of the late George and Suzanna (MacPhee) Mercer. Mother of Audrey Mackay and her husband Bruce of Framingham; grandmother of Kristen and Andrew Mackay; step-mother of Martin P. Dunton and his wife Joanne of Palm Harbor, FL and Diane Wolstencroft of Onset. Also survived by two nieces, Susan Taylor of Burlington, VT and Diane Vaughn of Littleton, CO. Sister of the late Floris Taylor who died in 1960. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Friday, October 26 at 11 AM in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 3 Maple St. (Main St @ Buckminster Sq.), Framingham. Visiting hours at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St., (corner of Union Ave.) FRAMINGHAM will be Thursday from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. MA Chapter, 311 Arsenal Rd., Watertown, MA 02472. Graduate Framingham HS and Framingham State Teacher's College. Head dietitian at Framingham Union and Marlborough Hospital for many years. Member of Eastern Star and co-founder of Framingham Young Women's Club.
