I just learned of Joe's passing and I am deeply saddened. I saw Joe at Javelli's last year and had a nice talk with him. I think back to all the Red Sox games we went to as kids and all the good times growing up. Joe, I, and other kids had lots of fun playing half ball. Joe was a good friend as a kid and grew into a kind man. My deepest sympathies to his family.

I WAS TOLD BY ONE OF JOE AND MY CHILDHOOD FRIENDS (JOHN ANZALONI) ON SUNDAY (10-28)THAT HE THOUGHT, MAYBE IT WAS JOE WHO PASSED ON. NEITHER OF US WANTED TO BELIEVE IT BUT AFTER READING THE NOTICE FOR THE UMPTEENTH TIME IT HAS FINALLY SET IN.
I WISH I COULD HAVE MADE HIS WAKE, TO SAY MY GOODBY. BUT, I HAVE ALWAYS THOUGHT OF JOE. I HAD INUMEROUS FOND CHILDHOOD MEMORIES OF JOE WITH OUR CLOSEST FRIENDS - JIM FRANCIS, KEN SULLIVAN, JOHN ANZALONI.
I HADN'T SEEN JOE IN YEARS BUT ERNIE STEVENS KEPT ME INFORMED OF JOE (WHICH WAS HALF A DOZEN TIMES A YEAR).
HE WILL LIVE ON IN MY MEMORIES,

I was so sorry to hear about Joe, we worked together for over 25 years at Bank of Boston. He will always be remembered as a wonderful person and a good friend.

I was terribly saddened to see the notice of Joe's passing. We worked together many years ago at Bank of Boston and he always was willing and eager to help anyone. Joe had a heart of gold. I'm sorry I didn't know in time to attend his service but please know he will always be remembered fondly, especially going to the Boston Bruins games years ago. Fun times.

I live a far way away, but will miss Joe a lot and wish I could have seen him again. He was a lot of fun to be with and a very nice man. I'm very sorry to hear about this. My condolences to all of his family and friends.
