I first met Al when I moved to Whitman Ave. and he lived on Echo Street in Melrose and shortly after his wife, Barbara, had died. He was a tall, stately, man, I thought, but had a gentleness about him.
He would always smile and waive whenever I would see him. Although I did not know him well, I thought of Al as a kind and caring man.
My prayers are with you all.

Kathy and I were saddened to hear about Al. He has been a great friend and supporter for so many years. We pray that God may comfort you through these difficult times and find peace knowing that he is home with God. God bless you.

During my time with the First Baptist Church of Melrose, Al was one of the many people who made the experience memorable. Al went out of his way to make you feel welcome and appreciated. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
